The Laughing Fish is in the quiet village of Isfield,
not far from Uckfield or Lewes, in East Sussex. It is a Greene King tenancy run
since February 2001 by tenants Andy & Linda Brooks,
whose principles are simple - we try to give a genuinely warm welcome to
all-comers, whilst providing the best quality ales and food that we can.

In the last nine years we've replaced the bar servery,
improved the garden, installed a childrens' play area, built new toilets,
extended the area available for those wanting a bite to eat, upgraded the
kitchen, provided good wheelchair access, replaced the central heating (but we
still have a log fire!), and developed a new heated outdoor area for smokers.
Although our genuinely home-made food is an
increasingly important part of the business we remain, first and foremost, the
village pub, and we welcome all-comers whether for a swift half (we're in the
Good Beer Guide for 2010) or for a three-course meal.
Forthcoming special events can be found under Events and you can see our regular menu under
Food.
Would you like to be kept informed when we update the
newsletter or plan forthcoming events? If so, just send an e-mail to
enquiries@laughingfishonline.co.uk and we'll do the rest!
